GAME REVIEW: Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage (E)

STORY:
After the events of Spyro the Dragon, Spyro decides to go to Dragon Shores for a vacation. But ends up in a magical realm called Avalar, which was taken over by a small dinosaur called Ripto.

GAMEPLAY:
The game is the same as Spyro the Dragon, except with a few differences like a power-up gate that lets you fly and/or shoot fire balls at your opponents. And also the ability to hover is new, which lets you make sure you can get to the next platform.

POSITIVE ELEMENTS:
Even though Spyro wants to go have a vacation he helps save Avalar from Ripto, and just like the first game he will do quests even for people he doesn't know.

SPIRITUAL ELEMENTS:
The game features a fairy called Zoe, but she doesn't really do anything magical. It also features some mystical spheres called Orbs, that you try to collect along with these magical items called Talismans. The game also has objects called Spirit Particles, that I'll explain about in the violence section.

SEXUAL CONTENT:
A few people may be upset about Elora and Zoe's costumes, but it's not that bad actually.

VIOLENT CONTENT:
You can flame your enemies with your breath and charge with your horns. When you destroy your enemy, it disappears and is replaced by an object called Spirit Particles that is a glowing object that unlocks the power-up gates.

PROFANITY:
nothing here other then Spyro's 'nicknames' for Ripto like: Small Fry & Shorty. But that shouldn't be a real problem.

OTHER NEGATIVE ELEMENTS:
nothing

CONCLUSION:
This is a very fun game to play, and is more fun to play then the first one in my opinion. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
